Our country had been known as an educated country a long time ago. KI Hajar Dewantara as the father of Indonesian education made our country famous in term of education. Many foreigners came to our country just to learn about our education system. However, in these few years, Indonesia has became one of the countries who has bad education system. In the Pearson research, Indonesia was the last position from 40 countries in three years. From this report, we know that Indonesia has been known as bad education country. So, what is wrong with our country?
I have concluded some problems that always appear in our education system. First, the education system always change every time we have a new education minister. When the education system is replaced, many teachers became confuse in teaching. This condition will give bad impacts to learning process. Moreover, the students will also be more difficult to learn.
The second problem is the teachers' ability in teaching are still below the standard. If we observe more, we will find many teachers who have the lack of teaching ability. It is not possible for the students to become smarter. If their teacher can not teaching well.
The third problem is the bad character of the Indonesian students. The good character need to be improved. Although the country has a good education system. Yet, if the student does not have a good character. It is impossible for that country to be success in education. The government should create the education to improve students' character.
Those problems are a few examples of many problems that we encounter. We have to realize about how important the education it is. The country will become big and successfull if it has a good education system.
